My 3 times greatgrandfather, Alfred Matthews was a porter there in 1858 as given on his son's birth certificate. He was born in Hoxton in 1834 and lived in the area until circa 1865 when he and his family moved to Southwark. His father was a wine cooper but I don't know if he ever worked there too. ***
