The Bunyards were my mothers' Great Grandparents via her grandmother Isabel.
Lucy Bunyard was born in a tiny hamlet near the Norfolk town of Attleborough,
and life in London must have been a great change for her. (I wonder how the
couple met?) She was hard to track down as her maiden name was Barnard
making census searching a bit confusing. ***

The transfer deed for “The Rising Sun”
(213 St Leonards Street, Bromley by Bow) was dated 17th April 1916 and was
from Mann Crossman & Paulin Ltd to Mary Esther Davis, the wife of Henry
Arthur Davis. From here they moved to “The Sultan” (101 Picton Street,
Camberwell) and Henry Arthur Davis took over from Mr Albert Edward Morton on
the 27th September 1921. *

On the 31st May 1923 they left “The Sultan” which was transferred to Mr
Edward Dale; and on the 14th August 1923, Henry Arthur Davis took over the
