Brewers Arms, 91 High Street, Lewes

This pub may have been established by as early as 1691, around the time when the Bull Inn next door closed. It was called the Red Lion in 1727, renamed the Ship in 1744 and again renamed the Brewers Arms in 1769. It was rebuilt in its present form in 1905. **
