Old Globe, 191 Mile End Road, Mile End E1

Mile End Pubs history

Established by 1690 as the Globe, the name Old Globe was in use by the 1830s to distinguish it from the New Globe which had opened nearby in 1820. Rebuilt in 1811 although much altered since. This pub closed in 2010 and is now used as a bookies. **
